Foil Stamped Business Cards
Taste of Ink offers completely unique foil-stamped business cards. Along with the foil stamp upgrade, silk laminate, spot gloss UV highlights, and die-cutting can also be used in conjunction to create a truly elegant and classy feel to any printed piece. The decorative foil is available in many colors and adds an eye-catching shine to highlight important parts of your business card.
Foil Stamping: The Process
Foil stamping is one of the last parts of the printing process to be added to a business card. First the card stock is cut by a laser-cutting machine. This is where any die cutting takes place, whether it’s rounded corners, hole punches, or die-cut shapes. Next, the design is printed in full color. The silk laminate coating is then applied to the front and back of the card stock. Spot gloss highlights are implemented either before or after the final color foil-stamping work is done.
Effects of Special Varnishes
Decorative color foil stamping is one of the best ways to instantly add high-class image to your business card, especially when combined with other custom upgrades such as spot UV, laser die cuts, and silk/satin laminate coatings. Your silk business cards will impress even the most particular prospects, and will give you credibility to help convert skeptical consumers. Foil stamping is very shiny and produces an elegant glare when held at an angle to the light. To see the effects for yourself, please request our free print samples.
